I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I attended a Christian school in my earlier years and faithfully attended an intellectual Reformed Baptist church where I learned solid theology. I believed in Jesus as my Savior and submitted to him as my Lord at a young age.
I enjoyed the experiences of public high school and had great experiences at Bloomsburg University where I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech Language Pathology. I met my sweet, godly husband through Bloomsburg Christian Fellowship. We settled in Sunbury and were blessed with two children.
Most of my life things came pretty easily to me. I could work hard at something and excel. God opened my eyes to my self-reliance when I first became a mother. It was the first time I felt that I really didn’t know what I was doing and it was so important!
God grew my love for Him and for others through being a part of planting Sunbury City Church. He has given me many opportunities to live out my faith – sharing God’s truth and grace and seeing lives and hearts changed.
He continues to teach me that I can never meet God’s standard which is perfection. But He was so gracious to give His son to take the punishment I deserve and give me Christ’s perfection that I did not earn. I’m so excited that God has invited me into the work that He is doing in this valley.
I also get excited about being physically active – volleyball, walks, hikes and jogs. These are all very helpful because I love ice cream, pizza and sweets of many different varieties.
Sunbury City Church exists to glorify God by making disciples who love God, live the gospel, embrace our community, and plant movements.
