Spicing Up the City & the Schools

On Monday August 9th, a group of 22 students and adults from First Baptist Church Indian Trail, NC came to Sunbury and Northumberland in order to serve our community. And what a blessing it has been.  In the morning they walked these 2 communities, praying for each house and business as they passed while also blessing nearly 300 residents with gift cards.  Then in the afternoon they got their work clothes on and went to town painting the pavilion and picnic tables at the Kiwanis Playground, moved the Hill Neighborhood Office, and helped teachers at Oaklyn and Priestley Elementary Schools get ready for the new school year.  What incredible work they were able to do on behalf of the name of Jesus Christ. Praise God!
