A Little Spring Cleanin'

Spring is in the air, and you know what that means? Time for a bit of cleaning. Given the pending church building transfer, we hosted a mission team of 14 students and three adults from Wallace, NC. During their day and a half at our church, they dusted, swept, mopped, and vacuumed floors, pulled weeds, and, best of all, cleaned out a storage area that had not been touched in over four years, as well as an office that filled with decades-old books. In all, they took one ton of unwanted goods to the dump and two truckloads of metal to a local scrap yard. It is a glorious feeling knowing all that garbage is out of the church. Additionally, they took time to see the community so they might partner more in the future. We are grateful for their willingness to get dirty and help us out.
